Hong Lai Huat Construction Pte Ltd - a wholly-owned subsidiary of HLH Group Limited (Singapore Main-board listed).

The flagship of our company, Hong Lai Huat Construction Pte Ltd (HLHC) was incorporated in 1992. With an A1 and B2 grade registration with the Singapore Building and Construction Authority (BCA) in General Building and Civil Engineering respectively, Hong Lai Huat Construction Pte Ltd was one of the Singapore's major home-grown building construction company with integrated civil engineering, engineering and construction support service capabilities. We were principally involved in the construction of residential, industrial and commercial projects and civil engineering projects as a main contractor.

In 1998, we also embarked on the business of property investment and development with the incorporation of two subsidiaries: HLH Realty Pte Ltd and Proveho Pte Ltd.

In 2002, the unprecedented global event has caused the economy especially construction industry in Singapore to remain in the doldrums. In view of the weakening demand in the construction industry coupled with the increased difficult operating environment in Singapore, we had scaled down our construction operations and look forward to exploring business opportunities in the South East Asia Region and the People Republic of China.

With the recent influx of Foreign Investments, International Resorts and Casino Development in Singapore, there is a great demand in new property developments. It has paved an improving demand and growth in Singapore Construction Industry. We have re-engineered ourselves and are well prepared to enter the industry when the time is right.
